About Lina
Hi, I'm Lina.
I have been teaching mathematics, statistics, and physics for more than 15 years to students of different ages and levels, from elementary school to university. I have worked with both private and group classes, in person and online, in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
My background in Chemical Engineering at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia strengthened my connection with mathematics and its applications. In my classes, I aim to turn concepts that may seem abstract into something understandable, useful, and connected to real situations.
I believe learning should not feel like an experience of pressure, anxiety, or frustration. I am patient and kind, and I strive to create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, being curious, and building confidence in their own reasoning.
